So in the spirit of our favorite ginger Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan’s rockstar fashion status on their first ever royal tour, I’m sharing a ginger cookie recipe with y’all that, like the Duchess of Sussex, works hard while being kind.
It was so inspiring to see people there selling products that they made with their own two hands, crafted from ideas in their heads and dreams in their hearts.
But now fast forward and there has been so much British royal amazingness crammed into such a short amount of time, I don’t know that we’ll ever be able to go back to the long months of waiting for sightings or hoping for exciting news from the royal family. Is this just me?!

We are so proud of our home, but I’m going to be honest with you-when we first walked inside, we realized we paid mostly for the curb appeal because the inside needed some Love with a capital L. But, with a lot of blood, sweat and tears (mostly from my husband) we have made this house our home and have grown to really love a fixer upper that we can make our own.
It’s warm out of the oven as the kids are coming downstairs which makes me feel like a rock-star-mom and the sweet cinnamon smell that wafts through the house doubles as the alarm clock so, win-win.
